Wedding Planning Tips
Planning your wedding is an exciting time. We've all heard the stories of how stressful and overwhelming it can be, but we're here to tell you that planning your wedding doesn't have to be like that.
Here are some tips for planning your wedding:
1. Set a budget and stick to it!
2. Make a list of all of the things you want at your wedding (flowers, cake, venue), and prioritize them in order of importance.
3. Don't try to do everything yourself! Hire professionals when they're needed—your mom isn't a professional photographer or florist, so don't rely on her for those services!
4. Get started early—the earlier you begin planning the more time you'll have to make sure everything goes smoothly on the big day!
5. I think it is important to take time, make sure you have your license at least 4 weeks before your big day. I had one couple that waited until the day before their ceremony, and didn't get it. Do not do this! You have up to 3 months to use your license, but I suggest get it in the 4 week mark at the latest!
6. Please take time to breath in between everything. This is YOUR DAY! It is all about you, try your best to have a good support team around you.
7. Book your rehearsal, even though it seems like you may not need it, it truly does create more harmony and flow so you can relax and ask any questions that may arise.
8. Pay for what matters, I know some officiants who charge less then I do, but then they have 3 or 4 weddings in ONE DAY. I do not do this. I do not need to do this, nor do I want too.
