My Yoga Journey: A Path to Healing & Presence
I want to share a personal story about my journey with yoga—one that has deeply transformed my life in ways I never expected.
When I first began practicing yoga last year, I saw it as just a way to stay active and healthy. Inspired by my mother’s struggle with chronic sciatica pain, I knew I wanted to care for my body to prevent similar challenges as I aged. But what started as a physical practice quickly became something much deeper. Yoga became the missing piece in my holistic and spiritual life.
I soon realized that yoga wasn’t just about movement—it was a beautiful complement to the energy work and healing practices I’ve offered for over 20 years. The 8 Limbs of Yoga taught me how to bring mindfulness and presence into every moment, aligning perfectly with the work I do through Reiki, hypnosis, and reflexology.
Here’s a glimpse into the wisdom of the 8 Limbs of Yoga:
✨ Yamas – Ethical principles for how we interact with the world
✨ Niyamas – Self-discipline and inner growth
✨ Asana – Physical postures that strengthen and heal
✨ Pranayama – Breath control to cultivate energy and balance
✨ Pratyahara – Turning inward by withdrawing from distractions
✨ Dharana – Concentration and focused awareness
✨ Dhyana – Meditation and deep inner stillness

Yoga has become my anchor, deepening my connection to my breath, body, and spirit in ways I never imagined. It has helped me embody presence, flow with life, and support others on their journey to healing.

Hi, I’m Natalia, and I am beyond grateful to introduce you to my dear friend and teaching partner, Pashana Kay. Our connection spans over 15 years of deep sisterhood—she has been my spiritual mama bear, guiding light, and true soul sister. Walking this journey together, holding space for healing and growth, is a gift I cherish every day.
Our yoga classes are a reflection of this bond, infused with intention, love, and a shared commitment to supporting our community’s well-being.

Pashana begins each class with a calming 10-minute practice, guiding you through:

From there, I lead you through a one-hour Hatha Yoga practice, blending:

P.S. I’ve been lovingly nicknamed Warrior Queen—so expect a little fire in your practice (your legs will thank me later 😉).

Our yoga classes, is a Gentle Hatha style yoga, where we hold each pose for 3-5 breaths, allowing ou to truly feel the deepening of the poses while staying connected to your breath.
Our classes are designed for everyone—all ages, all body types, and all levels of experience. We’ve had students as young as 18 and as seasoned as 80 join us, and each person brings something beautiful to our shared practice.
No matter where you’re starting from, this is a space where you can move at your own pace, honor your body, and feel fully supported. We’re here to guide you on a journey of self-discovery and connection—one breath, one pose, and one moment at a time.

With over 40 years of experience in personal growth and wellness, Pashana Kay is a seasoned mentor who blends profound wisdom with heartfelt compassion. As a loving mother of six, she embodies the balance of strength and nurturing, bringing a grounded and supportive presence to every yoga class.

Hi, I’m Natalia Love Angelou, and I’m so excited to welcome you to this beautiful space!
As a proud mother of four and a dedicated leader in the Niagara community for over 20 years, I’ve made it my life’s work to support women on their journey to self-love and empowerment. My passion for wellness and healing led me to complete my Yoga Teacher Training in December 2024, adding another layer to my lifelong dedication to holistic well-being.
Yoga, to me, is more than just movement—it’s a sacred practice of self-discovery, healing, and transformation. My classes are designed to be gentle, supportive, and accessible to everyone, no matter your age, body type, or experience level. A Journey to Health and Self-Love
For the past three years, I’ve been on a deeply transformative health journey—one that has truly changed my life. With the guidance of a dietitian and therapist, I’ve been able to end the cycle of diet culture, embrace intuitive eating, and heal my relationship with food.
Through therapy, I discovered Internal Family Systems (IFS), which allowed me to understand and release old patterns, including emotional eating. This work has been life-changing.
Along the way, I released 80 pounds of excess weight, but it wasn’t about chasing a number on the scale. It was a natural result of truly listening to and honoring my body. This journey has never been about appearance—I’ve always loved myself at every size—but about reclaiming my health and feeling truly at home in my body.
Yoga has been the cornerstone of my transformation. It has:
✨ Strengthened my body
✨ Improved my flexibility
✨ Brought a profound sense of peace and balance
Thanks to yoga, I no longer struggle with sleep apnea, knee pain, or back pain. It has helped me step into a healthier, more joyful version of myself.

But yoga has played such a pivotal role in my healing journey—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—that it felt important to honor that.
This journey has never been about the numbers or what I look like on the outside. It's been about the growth and the deepening into myself. Yoga has allowed me to reconnect with my body in a way that is truly transformative, and I’m so grateful for the strength, peace, and clarity it’s brought into my life.
