I currently teach three soulful classes each week (soon expanding to four), each one a space to come home to yourself.

My Yoga Journey: A Path to Healing & Presence

I want to share a personal story about my journey with yogaβ€”one that has deeply transformed my life in ways I never expected.

When I first began practicing yoga last year, I saw it as just a way to stay active and healthy. Inspired by my mother’s struggle with chronic sciatica pain, I knew I wanted to care for my body to prevent similar challenges as I aged. But what started as a physical practice quickly became something much deeper. Yoga became the missing piece in my holistic and spiritual life.

I soon realized that yoga wasn’t just about movementβ€”it was a beautiful complement to the energy work and healing practices I’ve offered for over 20 years. The 8 Limbs of Yoga taught me how to bring mindfulness and presence into every moment, aligning perfectly with the work I do through Reiki, hypnosis, and reflexology.

Here’s a glimpse into the wisdom of the 8 Limbs of Yoga:

✨ Yamas – Ethical principles for how we interact with the world
✨ Niyamas – Self-discipline and inner growth
✨ Asana – Physical postures that strengthen and heal

Walking this journey together, holding space for healing and growth, is a gift I cherish every day.

As a proud mother of four and a dedicated leader in the Niagara community for over 20 years, I’ve made it my life’s work to support women on their journey to self-love and empowerment. My passion for wellness and healing led me to complete my Yoga Teacher Training in December 2024, adding another layer to my lifelong dedication to holistic well-being.

Yoga, to me, is more than just movementβ€”it’s a sacred practice of self-discovery, healing, and transformation. My classes are designed to be gentle, supportive, and accessible to everyone, no matter your age, body type, or experience level. Here, you’ll find a space where you can move at your own pace, connect with your breath, and truly honor your body and soul.

A Journey to Health and Self-Love

For the past three years, I’ve been on a deeply transformative health journeyβ€”one that has truly changed my life. With the guidance of a dietitian and therapist, I’ve been able to end the cycle of diet culture, embrace intuitive eating, and heal my relationship with food.

Through therapy, I discovered Internal Family Systems (IFS), which allowed me to understand and release old patterns, including emotional eating. This work has been life-changing.

Along the way, I released 80 pounds of excess weight, but it wasn’t about chasing a number on the scale. It was a natural result of truly listening to and honoring my body. This journey has never been about appearanceβ€”I’ve always loved myself at every sizeβ€”but about reclaiming my health and feeling truly at home in my body.

Yoga has been the cornerstone of my transformation. It has:

✨ Improved my flexibility
✨ Brought a profound sense of peace and balance

Thanks to yoga, I no longer struggle with sleep apnea, knee pain, or back pain. It has helped me step into a healthier, more joyful version of myself.
