Why have a wedding?

Weddings are an important display of your loyalty and love to your partner. It's not just about the wedding day, or even the marriage. It's about love. Love is timeless, and weddings are a way to celebrate that spirit of love and the promise of what it means to be in love with someone.

It's a celebration of the couple, but it's also a celebration of their community—a community that has come together to support them as they enter into this new stage of their lives together. In many cultures, weddings are sacred rituals performed to celebrate love and commitment between two people who want to spend the rest of their lives together. You can travel the world and witness all forms of weddings, its such a beautiful way to express your love.

They serve as a way to announce your love for someone and to share it with everyone else. It is a time to celebrate and be happy, but also a time to reflect on the meaning behind the commitment being made. A commitment to that person with whom you love with all your heart. Yes I believe in happily ever after’s!

Celebrating love is timeless

Love is one of the most powerful feelings we as humans have, it heals, it gives unconditionally and it amplifies. It is so important to create a sacred space so your love can grow. Having a wedding is like creating that space. You will be able to share your vows, promises from your heart to that one and only special person in your life.

Love is love, I perform ceremonies for all. I am an alley of LGBTQ2S+. It is amazing to live where it is legal and safe to perform these weddings, this is another reason why having a wedding matters, because our ancestors were not able to be free or have these types of weddings before. So celebrating LOVE truly heals, it truly sets the stage of acceptance and sharing LOVE for all!

With everything going on in the world today, such as health crisis, pandemics, recessions, knowing that you have someone beside you during these times, gives you a sense of calmness, a sense of security and safety, knowing you are not alone. Knowing that you will get through this, like your ancestors did, together! Love makes burdens lighter, love makes your heart smile. Yes, having a wedding solidifies that smile forever! People are beings of connections, and having someone you can connect to someone you can share your everything with, is truly priceless.

I love officiating weddings, and married my high school sweetheart. I've been officiating weddings for years, it is such a rewarding job being able to celebrate love. Are you ready to celebrate your love with a wedding?

I will be there with you every step of the way, helping you plan, prepare and stay calm on your big day.

When planning your wedding, remember to come from your heart. You are about to take one of the most important steps in your life and I want to help you make it as meaningful as possible by creating a ceremony that is unique to you.
